Roger Federer On A Roll, Wins Indian Wells
Roger Federer has been on a roll since last year's US Open. He's won 39 of his last 41 matches (unfortunately both losses in Grand Slams) and won four of the last six tournaments he entered. His win at BNP Paribas Open, Indian Wells, ties Nadal for the record at 19 Master 1000 titles. Federer also leads the South African Airways ATP Ranking Race to London which is no surprise given his recent victories.
His road to the BNP Paribas Open was not so easy as he had to face rising Canadian star (who already has two titles in 2011), Milos Raonic, Grand Slam Winner Juan Martin Del Potro (who beat Federer in the 2009 US Open Final) and arch nemesis Rafa Nadal (Nadal led 18-9 head-to-head before Indian Wells). He's been playing pretty amazing and let's hope he keeps it up as he hasn't won a Grand Slam since 2009.
