Google Shopping Express, Free Delivery in San Francisco

Google launched its shopping express service today for select test users in the San Francisco bay area. They are offering a free 6-month membership for unlimited same-day delivery. Participating retailers include:

• Target
• Walgreens
• Blue Bottle Coffee Co.
• Staples
• Office Depot
•  Toys R Us, 
• American Eagle Outfitters 
• Palo Alto Sports Shop & Toy World 
• Raley's Nob Hill Foods

Google is directly going after Amazon's Prime program (unlimited free 2-day shipping) and competition is always a good thing for consumers.
